Qcells was created in Thalheim, Germany, and currently employs over 2,000 people. Following the development of Qcells, other businesses began to open facilities in the nearby area, giving rise to what became known as Germany’s “Solar Valley.”

The business attained a 1GW global solar capacity in the same year, and now we are the top manufacturers of solar systems.
